I’ve spent the last 15 years as a writer and creative director in the advertising industry, and the last eight years growing my passion for DIY and designing interiors.

My love for planning and constructing interior spaces really shifted into high gear when we built our own home in 2020.

I became obsessed with understanding how our spaces can both improve and reflect our lives. I find empowerment in learning to use every power tool I can get my hands on and enjoy the challenge of creating an elevated, functional space that tells a story.

Today, in addition to tackling my own projects, I run One Smith Studio, where I help clients design their business spaces, rental properties and homes with a special focus on adding character and improving function. I also help businesses define and share their own stories and connect with their communities.
